Building a self-governing community begins with ordinary people making extraordinary choices. Every strong Local Assembly across Terra Australis started the same way: with a few awake and willing people deciding to gather, connect, and act.
In time, every town will likely want its own Assembly. But in the beginning, it’s often best to focus on a single Assembly for an entire Council region. This allows people to gather in greater numbers, express their collective will, and provide direction and guidance to the incumbent service corporations.
If you’re considering volunteering as a Coordinator, this guide will help you see what’s required — and show you how to start right where you are.
Your first role as a Coordinator is to reach out. Assemblies only exist when people gather — and that starts with conversations.
Invite family, friends, neighbours, and awake community members to an initial meeting. Keep it simple — a BBQ, coffee, or catch-up in the park is enough.
Share the why: assemblies are about people stepping into their true authority to govern their communities, securing freedom for everyone, and creating peace.
Use social media, flyers, Telegram, and word-of-mouth to spread the word. Be creative.
Ask to have your Assembly and events listed on the National Assembly website.
The initial goal isn’t large numbers — it’s to find the first few who share the vision. From there, momentum grows. You are not alone: there are plenty of resources and experienced people ready to help you get started.
Assembly meetings are open to everyone, and all are welcome to share knowledge and ideas. But if someone wants to take an active role — as a Coordinator, in an Action Group, or in elections — they must first correct their political status.
Slaves and those with allegiance to a foreign corporation (e.g. Australian Citizens or residents) cannot assemble lawfully. Correcting one’s status is more than paperwork: it’s a shift in comprehension and requires support.
Run paperwork workshops - encourage people to work and learn together.
Helping people take this step builds both confidence and legitimacy for your Assembly.
Consistency is everything. Assemblies come alive when people meet face-to-face, share food, build trust and take action together.
Face-to-face connection grows courage, deepens commitment, and creates accountability.
All Local Assembly Coordinators are invited to join the National Assembly Coordinators group. Here you’ll be able to:
This builds your confidence and knowledge when speaking with others locally.
Government overreach, corporate control, and social division thrive on fear. Assemblies are the antidote — places where people rediscover courage together.
Courage is contagious — once people see others stepping forward, they will too.
At the heart of every successful Assembly is fellowship: people who genuinely care for one another. Without this, no structure will last.
Love transforms a group of individuals into a family of State Nationals.
Your Local Assemblies, at the moment, are focused on outreach – helping people know what TASA and the assemblies are about, and why what we are doing is necessary.
As we prepare the National Assembly for elections, at the same time we are creating the blueprint for Local Assemblies to follow.
We are not in a rush – it is very important we dot the i’s and cross the t’s, while at the same time grow the active participation.
The more people actively involved in creating their assemblies, the more validity our initiative has – with both the legacy system and the broader community.
Starting and growing a Local Assembly doesn’t happen overnight. It’s steady, faithful work: gathering people, building courage, and keeping the peace. There will be ups and downs — but you are never alone. The broader TASA family is here to support you, and many Assemblies across the Earth are walking the same path.
Stay the course. Learn as you go. Take one step at a time. The spark you light may guide your entire community.
