Mission
This Office is the liaison between the General Assembly and all corporate Officers and agents responsible for directing the delivery of 'education' and 'childhood services' across Queensland.
This involves putting a stop to unwanted services as well as implementing new services, structures and guidelines as per the will of the people.
This is an elected office serving and responsible to the General Assembly for a period not more than one year from the date of appointment. The Office holder may stand for reelection, and may be recalled.
Key Responsibilities
This Office is the liaison between the people and all corporate Officers and agents responsible for directing the delivery of 'education' and 'childhood services' across Queensland. This involves putting a stop to unwanted services as well as implementing new services, structures and guidelines as per the will of the people.
- Transparency: Ensure transparency in all dealings, use only plain English, be clear and concise in communication and ensure records are made publicly available.
- Collaboration: Work closely with action groups in areas impacting the scope of this Office to research and develop detailed plans on issues and opportunities to present to the General Assembly for a fully informed decision.
- Implementation of General Assembly Decisions: Execute all authorised actions and plans, ensuring alignment with the collective will of the community. Engage with corporate service providers within the scope of the Office, directing and overseeing their actions to meet the community's needs and expectations.
- Monthly Reporting: Deliver your report to the General Assembly each month, providing updates on progress, challenges, and outcomes. Contribute informed perspectives to the decision-making process related to the scope of this Office.
- Delegated Powers: Operate strictly within the powers delegated by the General Assembly, ensuring no Office exceeds its authority or acts independently of community oversight.

Office of Treasurer

Mission
To facilitate treasury integrity as steward of public funds, ensure transparency and responsible financial management by all four pillars of the Assembly.
This is an elected office serving and responsible to the General Assembly for a period not more than one year from the date of appointment. The Office holder may stand for reelection, and may be recalled.
Key Responsibilities
- Budget Management: Oversee the development and implementation of the Assembly annual budgets for the four assembly pillars. Monitor budget performance.
- Financial Oversight: Ensure the Finance Oversight Committee conducts regular (minimum annual) audits of the localities financial records and accounts.
- Identify and address any discrepancies or irregularities in financial transactions.
- Ensure compliance with established financial policies and regulations.
- Present audit results and recommended actions to the General Assembly.
- Treasury Management: Manage the Assembly cash flow, investments, and asset portfolio. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.
- Reporting and Transparency: Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports to the General Assembly.
- Respond to inquiries and provide financial information to the public as requested.
- All assembly financial records and communications are to be available for public access and scrutiny. Maintain a user-friendly, accessible financial information record.
- Additional Duties: Collaborate with other Offices of the Governance Assembly to ensure sound fiscal management and assist them to achieve their duties.
- Propose and implement measures to improve the state's financial systems and practice
Additional information:
- The Office must uphold the values and mission of the assembly.
- There is no hierarchy in the assemblies, no superior roles, bosses or rulers
