Mission
This Office is the liaison between the General Assembly and all corporate Officers and agents responsible for directing the delivery of 'education' and 'childhood services' across Queensland.
This involves putting a stop to unwanted services as well as implementing new services, structures and guidelines as per the will of the people.
This is an elected office serving and responsible to the General Assembly for a period not more than one year from the date of appointment. The Office holder may stand for reelection, and may be recalled.
Key Responsibilities
This Office is the liaison between the people and all corporate Officers and agents responsible for directing the delivery of 'education' and 'childhood services' across Queensland. This involves putting a stop to unwanted services as well as implementing new services, structures and guidelines as per the will of the people.
- Transparency: Ensure transparency in all dealings, use only plain English, be clear and concise in communication and ensure records are made publicly available.
- Collaboration: Work closely with action groups in areas impacting the scope of this Office to research and develop detailed plans on issues and opportunities to present to the General Assembly for a fully informed decision.
- Implementation of General Assembly Decisions: Execute all authorised actions and plans, ensuring alignment with the collective will of the community. Engage with corporate service providers within the scope of the Office, directing and overseeing their actions to meet the community's needs and expectations.
- Monthly Reporting: Deliver your report to the General Assembly each month, providing updates on progress, challenges, and outcomes. Contribute informed perspectives to the decision-making process related to the scope of this Office.
- Delegated Powers: Operate strictly within the powers delegated by the General Assembly, ensuring no Office exceeds its authority or acts independently of community oversight.

Office of Convenor

Mission
To facilitate the establishment and effective functioning of action groups within the General Assembly, ensuring collaboration, inclusivity, and accountability to achieve the best overall outcomes for the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Clarify and document the purpose and intended outcome of new action groups.
- Assist in recruiting potential volunteers and specialists to join or provide advice.
- Facilitate collaboration between different groups or pillars where appropriate.
- Provide guidance and support to newly formed action groups.
- Monitor the progress of action groups and provide improvement suggestions.
- Mediate conflicts or disagreements within or between groups.
- Help community formed groups best prepare for a successful presentation to the General Assembly if needed.
- Facilitate update reports by the speaker of each action group to the General Assembly appropriate.
- Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping of committee activities.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the working groups process and recommend adjustments or new initiatives to the General Assembly as needed.
- Foster an inclusive and collaborative environment within the Assembly.

Office of Treasurer

Mission
To facilitate treasury integrity as steward of public funds, ensure transparency and responsible financial management by all four pillars of the Assembly.
This is an elected office serving and responsible to the General Assembly for a period not more than one year from the date of appointment. The Office holder may stand for reelection, and may be recalled.
Key Responsibilities
- Budget Management: Oversee the development and implementation of the Assembly annual budgets for the four assembly pillars. Monitor budget performance.
- Financial Oversight: Ensure the Finance Oversight Committee conducts regular (minimum annual) audits of the localities financial records and accounts.
- Identify and address any discrepancies or irregularities in financial transactions.
- Ensure compliance with established financial policies and regulations.
- Present audit results and recommended actions to the General Assembly.
- Treasury Management: Manage the Assembly cash flow, investments, and asset portfolio. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.
- Reporting and Transparency: Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports to the General Assembly.
- Respond to inquiries and provide financial information to the public as requested.
- All assembly financial records and communications are to be available for public access and scrutiny. Maintain a user-friendly, accessible financial information record.
- Additional Duties: Collaborate with other Offices of the Governance Assembly to ensure sound fiscal management and assist them to achieve their duties.
- Propose and implement measures to improve the state's financial systems and practice

- The Office must uphold the values and mission of the assembly.
- There is no hierarchy in the assemblies, no superior roles, bosses or rulers

Office of Public Communications

Mission
Mission: To empower the community through high quality, timely, truthful and transparent communications, encouraging active participation in governance, jury duty and the Guardianage Assembly.
This is an elected office serving and responsible to the General Assembly for a period not more than one year from the date of appointment. The Office holder may stand for reelection, and may also be recalled.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Communication: Ensure clear, truthful and timely dissemination of information regarding the activities, decisions, and initiatives of the four Assembly pillars.
- Engage the Community: Organise outreach efforts to encourage public participation in Elections and in their Assemblies, including meetings, forums, workshops and volunteering on the Guardianage Assembly.
- Provide Resources: Create and distribute informational materials, such as newsletters, brochures, and digital content, to keep the community informed about relevant issues and events.
- Manage Media Relations: Serve as the liaison between the Assemblies and the media, crafting press releases and responding to inquiries to promote positive public relations.
- Volunteer committee: Establish and work with a committee of volunteers or staff representing each of the Assembly pillars and responsible for a broad range of communication initiatives and outreach efforts.
- Monthly report: Deliver a monthly report to the General Assembly on communication activities, community engagement efforts, and feedback received.
Additional information:
- The Office must uphold the values and mission of the assembly.
- There is no hierarchy in the assemblies, no superior roles, bosses or rulers.
- This charter may be amended as necessary to adapt to the changing needs of the community and improve the effectiveness of the Office. All changes must be authorised by the General Assembly.

Our mission is to develop, maintain, and protect the technology necessary to ensure private, censorship-resistant communication, coordination, and resource sharing.
