Moreton Bay Assembly

Return to the Land and Soil Jurisdiction of Terra Australis

Vision Statement

Self-Governed Abundant Moreton Bay

Our vision is one of peace.  We stand united against all forms of oppression, ensuring all people are empowered and free to live in safe pursuit of their dreams.

We honour and celebrate our abundant Earth, harnessing our collective lawful authority as one united people.

Together, we manage our assets, resources, infrastructure, and the natural environment, not only for our benefit today but also as the stewards for the generations to come.

Our Guiding Principles

  • Focus on Local: All decisions rest with the smallest, most immediate group affected, rather than being imposed by a larger or more distant body.
  • Community Wellbeing: All decisions promote safe, inclusive, and thriving neighbourhoods, enhancing the quality of life of people and families. Decisions support growth in knowledge, health, and happiness, aligned with creation of a well-rounded, resilient thriving community.
  • Proactive Response: All decisions reflect a commitment to addressing the root causes of societal issues—such as distress, crime, and illness—by solving problems at their source rather than merely reacting to symptoms.
  • Remaining Free: All people have the opportunity to engage actively in the governance of their community, protect their freedoms, uphold the law, and protect their neighbours, collectively working towards a vibrant, free society.

We do no harm, cause no loss, keep the peace, and remain honourable in all our agreements.
We are accountable for the outcomes of our actions.
