Welcome home

Self-governed communities.
Abundance for all.

We assemble because the people closest to a community should help shape its future. Together we can make informed decisions, care for one another and build safe, abundant places to live.

TASA is part of an international initiative, working alongside emerging Assemblies and new nations across the Earth. We are studying the American Assembly model and tailoring its structures and processes for Terra Australis, so government serves the people and the services we need and choose.

Building from the community outward

Decisions should be made by the people most affected by them.

Local Assemblies bring neighbours together to become informed, discuss shared concerns and make decisions. Through clear, agreed processes, we learn how to express our collective will, record our decisions and give direction to those entrusted to carry them out.

From this local foundation, we are building national bodies to carry out the people’s will on matters entrusted to them. Their role is to support Local Assemblies, manage shared responsibilities and report back to the communities they serve.

TASA’s developing structure is designed for adoption in different communities and offers a way for us to work together to improve our Earth for everyone.

Freedom carries responsibility: to learn, participate, keep the peace and look after one another. Whether you are curious, cautious or ready to take part, you are welcome here.

Your community. Your voice. Your place to begin.

You do not need to have every answer before you begin. Meet your neighbours, bring your questions and discover what assembling could make possible where you live.

A dedicated and enthusiastic team of volunteers is researching and developing the structures, tools and resources to gift to the people as Assemblies take shape.
