On 15 March 2025, our TASA Capricorn Coast community group was joined by Richard Evans, National Coordinator of the Terra Australis Peacekeeping Task Force (TAPKTF). Richard shared an engaging and informative presentation about where the Peacekeeping Task Force currently stands, how it supports Assemblies across Terra Australis, and what’s coming next.
The Peacekeeping Task Force is a vital initiative that prepares and supports our communities in times of both natural and man-made emergencies. It offers structure and training for forming the Guardianage Assembly, ensuring that peace, safety, and lawful conduct are maintained on the land. Richard also walked us through the application and training process for those interested in stepping into a peacekeeping role, and explained how TAPKTF acts as a liaison between Assemblies and local stakeholders.
