Rockhampton-Yeppoon State Assembly

Return to the Land and Soil Jurisdiction of Terra Australis

Vision Statement

Self-Governed Abundant Queensland

We honour and celebrate our abundant Earth, harnessing our collective lawful authority as one united people.

Our Assembly-Based Self-Governance model invites everyone to participate in shaping and implementing all the decisions that effect their local community.
Together, we manage our assets, resources, infrastructure, and the natural environment—not only for our benefit today but also as the stewards for the generations to come.

Our vision is one of peace

We stand united against all forms of oppression, ensuring every man and woman is free to live in safe pursuit of their dreams.

Our Guiding Principles

  • Subsidiarity: Authority for all decisions rests with the smallest, most immediate group affected, rather than being imposed by a larger or more distant body.
  • Community well-being: All decisions promote safe, inclusive, and thriving neighbourhoods, enhancing the quality of life of individuals and families. Decisions support growth in knowledge, health, and happiness, aligned with creation of a well-rounded, thriving community.
  • Proactive Resilience: All decisions reflect a commitment to addressing the root causes of societal issues—such as distress, crime, and illness—by solving problems at their source rather than merely responding to symptoms.
  • Remaining Free: With freedom comes responsibility. Every man and woman has a duty to engage actively in the governance of their community, protect their freedoms, uphold the law, and protect their neighbours. We do not abdicate this responsibility ensuring that we collectively work towards a vibrant, free society.

We do no harm, cause no loss, keep the peace, and remain honourable in all our agreements.
We are accountable for the outcomes of our actions.

Rockhampton Assembly Meeting - Monthly Event

Curious about living more freely, in truth, and with community? Come along to our next TASA gathering in Rockhampton and be part of something real. This monthly assembly is a space for everyday people to learn, grow, and take practical steps towards self-governance. Whether you're just starting out or already underway with your reconveyance journey, you’ll find a supportive group ready to share insights, ask questions, and celebrate the progress we are making together.

Expect a welcoming atmosphere, real conversations, and plenty of inspiration. We will unpack lived experiences dealing with GovCo, explore how to form or join local action groups, and share updates from the broader TASA movement. Bring a notebook, a friend, and a gold coin if you can. Most of all, bring your open mind and a willingness to explore what’s possible when we come together with purpose.
