We are reaching out today with an important initiative for your Assembly to consider \u2014 one that goes to the very heart of community resilience and preparedness: Food Security.<\/strong><\/p>\n In light of increasing uncertainty and growing dependence on long, fragile supply chains, now is the time for our local communities to begin asking what steps can we take to ensure that everyone is nourished, supported, and healthy <\/strong>in the face of change or disruption?<\/strong><\/p>\n We are inviting you to take this conversation to your local Assembly:<\/p>\n What can we do \u2014 right here, right now \u2014 to begin improving our food independence? Here are a few discussion starters for your next General Assembly:<\/strong><\/p>\n These conversations tie directly into the work of the Guardianage Assembly<\/strong> \u2014 the fourth pillar of your Assembly structure \u2014 which focuses on readiness, emergency response, and defence of the people and their property in times of crisis.<\/p>\n We are currently seeking volunteers to join the National Guardianage Committee<\/strong>, helping to develop educational materials, shared strategies, and coordination between Assemblies. This Committee will be instrumental in forming national policies and tools to support local food resilience, mutual aid, and disaster response.<\/strong><\/p>\n If your Assembly has members passionate about preparedness, land use, or community care \u2014 this is the place for them to contribute meaningfully at the national level.<\/p>\n Let\u2019s begin this vital discussion across Terra Australis \u2014 and build communities that can feed themselves, nourish each other, and stand ready for any challenge ahead.<\/p>\n If your Assembly starts this conversation or identifies a community champion for Guardianage, we\u2019d love to hear from you.
