But there is a quieter, more enduring kind of love<\/strong> we should give more time to - one that does not depend on other people at all.<\/p>\n

It begins in the way you relate to yourself.<\/p>\n

Self love<\/strong> is not indulgence, nor is it self obsession, it is something far more grounded in self respect. It is the gentle discipline of treating yourself with the same care you would offer someone you deeply cherish. You would not harshly criticise a love<\/strong>d one for struggling. You would not withhold compassion until they became perfect, or abandon them when they felt messy, uncertain, or overwhelmed.<\/p>\n
