💥 Kicking off 2026
2026 promises to be exciting, new beginnings in the numeral 1 year. We kick off our first Moreton Bay General Assembly this coming Saturday in Burpengary. This is our opportunity to reconnect, create a shared vision and explore powerful ideas that create momentum, strengthen our community with freedom, responsibility, and unity.
We’ve mentioned at the last few meetings that we would like to gather in a circle, but it hasn’t happened for one reason or another. It is time. In a circle everyone can see each other’s faces, every voice carries equal weight, and there is no one above or below. This is way forward for us. It will be less about dissemination of information and more about collective contributions.
When: Saturday 10 January 2026 at 3.30pm-5.30pm
Where: Burpengary Men’s Shed, Unit 1, 17 Maitland Rd, Burpengary East
Who: Open to all – bring a friend along!
We are also offering Assistance with paperwork session before the Assembly for anyone seeking support with creating their paperwork.
When: Saturday 10 January 2026 at 1.30pm-3.30pm
Who: Men and women needing assistance with paperwork. Please RSVP!

📌 Next Meeting
The following Moreton Bay Assembly will be at Sandgate with Guest Speaker Marcus McKenna who will be giving a presentation on blockchain, privacy and security for crypto wallets and tokens and how to use tokens for ownership and voting when buying property in a group.
